2021 SPECTATOR, PLAYER AND COACHES PROTOCOL
IMPORTANT: The information that follows is not intended or implied in any way to be a guarantee against possible exposure to COVID-19 or any other infectious diseases during attendance at the event. All those in attendance voluntarily assume all risks related to COVID-19 and other infectious diseases. 
 
               LET’S  KEEP  EACH  OTHER  SAFE!
 
Face Mask Protocol
Everyone over the age of 2 is "recommended" to wear a mask.
(staff, sponsors, spectators, adminstrators, coaches, players, ref teams and officials.)
                     **NOT MANDATORY AS OF JULY 1, 2021
              *COVID - 19 POLICY IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE*

Non-Compliance Penalties
Spectator non-compliance may result in match delay. Repeated violations will result in being escorted out of the venue or gymnasium. (No refunds will be issued)
 
Player or coach non-compliance (on or off court) will be handled as “team violations”
First offense is a warning, second will result in a point being awarded to the opposing team.
Repeated violations will result in match forfeit or expulsion from the building.
 
Decision to Attend
Anyone with risk factors should not attend.
Those exhibiting any symptoms or signs of sickness or have been in contact with known positive cases should not attend.
Anyone testing positive within the last 10 days from the start of the event should not attend.
Acknowledges that you will abide by all event policies.

Attendance Limits
Team rosters are limited to 12 athletes and 2 staff members.
NO limitations on spectators.
    TOTAL NUMBER OF SPECTORS IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE

Admission
  Process, Entry & Exits
Will have a designated entry and exit zones.
Social distance is NOT required at all times.{recommended}
Teams and spectators will not be ask to leave the venue/gymnasium after completion of every match.

Eating & Drinking
Concession stand will be available (subject to change)
Eating will be allowed in gym area. (subject to change)
No outside food is permitted.

Spectator Seating & Courtside Behavior
Bleachers seating will be open seating.
Personal chairs will not be allowed in the venue/gymnasium.
Tripods cameras will not be allowed.

Match Changes-(subject to change)
Tradition of changing sides for each set will be eliminated.
Only Starters line up on end lines.
End of match handshakes between opponents will be eliminated.
Teams shag their own volleyball during warm up.
Teams should bring sanitizing and cleaning products for their team.
Officials are required to use handheld or mouth whistles.
No tie-break sets will be played.

*PLAYER AS THEY WALK IN WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE GYM FIRST. (subject to tchange)

*PAYING GUESTS/PARENTS WILL BE ALLOWED TO COME IN FORM A SINGLE LINE OUT SIDE THE GYM DOOR AREA. (subject to change)
 
 Medical Evaluations
Anyone who presents signs of illness will be asked to leave the venue/gymnasium immediately.
If a player, coach or spectator is determined to be a person of concern by our athletic trainer, the team will forefeit that specific match and will be asked to exit the venue/gymnasium and no refunds will be issued.

Work Team Behaviors
Officiating team, RGV HWY 83 will provide pens and pencils for scorekeeping.
The same players must remain at score desk for the duration of the match.
No flags will be used or lines judges.
Consumption of food is not allowed at score tables.
 
Medical Team Plans
The event will have a certified athletic trainer in the gym area. Our medical staff will take every precaution to ensure safety measures are done in case of another accident.
